Prada O. Uzodimma is a young Nigerian lawyer who is speedily rising to the zenith of the profession.  Called to the Nigerian Bar in 2019, Prada obtained her  LL.B from the University of Surrey and  LL.M in Maritime Law from the University of Southampton, both in the United Kingdom.

Her passion for the Nigerian legal profession and desire to contribute her quota encouraged her to return home to get licensed as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. She is the principal partner of Principle Legal Consult a prominent Nigerian law firm providing exceptional legal services.

 Prada has employed her legal ingenuity in a number of cases prominent of which is the celebrated Imo State election petition where her father was immediately pronounced the Governor of Imo State. She is passionate about the protection of vulnerable women and girls thus she became a member of the International Federation of Women lawyers (FIDA) and joined the Legal Aid Counsel to ease access to justice for the less privileged.

Prada’s interest in and contribution to the vulnerable; men, women and especially girls has earned her the recognition as one of the youngest leading minds in Nigerian under reference.  She has also been recognised as Nigeria’s Young Lawyer of the Year 2020 amongst many other recognitions. She is a philanthropist positively affecting the lives of many across Nigeria with her support programmes.

Scholarship Scheme

The Prada Uzodimma Law School Scholarship Grant is an educational philanthropic project initiated, sponsored and facilitated annually by Prada O. Uzodimma, Esq, ACIArb the Managing Partner of Principle Legal Consult.

The Prada Uzodimma Scholarship Grant seeks to provide financial sponsorship to selected indigent Law School aspirants across Nigeria. Winners of this scholarship grant will have their LAW SCHOOL tuition fees fully catered for. There are no stringent requirements (such as being a first class student), applicants are required to display a show of impassioned drive and determination towards becoming a lawyer.
